The proposed mediators

Mundi Mediatores
Proactive, experienced & certified mediators

You don't have to rely solely on word of mouth when searching for the right mediator for your case. Mundi Mediatores (MM) provides names of experienced and qualified mediation professionals after interviewing them. You get actual information and feedback about the ADR professionals, their backgrounds and personalities. MM proposes mediators who proactively help the participants to communicate, clarify the facts, identify underlying interests and develop creative solutions that are tailored to the needs of the participants and their case.

Our handpicked mediator profiles feature specialized mediators, as may be required, with their subject matter expertise. These mediators are adept in employing a variety of mediation techniques, such as directive, evaluative, facilitative or transformative approaches to the process, who can adapt their style to the procedural and substantive requirements of each case. This includes mixed-modes (hybrids) as may be needed to best serve the needs and interests of each type of disputant. This allows participants to choose how much they want to maintain or give control over the outcome and/or the process to the mediator(s).

MM proposes professional mediators from countries around the globe.

All proposed mediators are experienced and certified by renowned organisations like the International Mediation Institute (IMI) intnt'l, ADR Centre IT, CPR USSingapore International Mediation Center (SIMC) SG, Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) SG, JAMS US, Sage Mediation SG,  American Arbitration Association (AAA) US, ICDR US, ICC NL, CEDR UK, and where applicable also meet the relevant local certifications and requirements (e.g., Mediators federation Netherlands (MfN, NL), Swiss Chamber of Commercial Mediators (SCCM, CH)). An extensive list of approved sources of mediators can be found at the website of our partner organisation InnovADR here.

The proactive mediators we propose are familiar with the legal mediation and/or business mediation landscape and have a deep understanding of the best practices in dispute resolution as well as of the relevant industries. They have a proven track record of successful outcomes, and striving to help the parties reach a mutually satisfactory resolution. They are able to facilitate communication and negotiations between the parties and enable them to identify and clarify the relevant facts, as well as the interests and needs of the disputants to develop creative solutions tailored to the specific needs of the case.

Finally, these mediators have demonstrated their commitment to promoting environmental, social and governance (ESG) values, working transparently, e.g., through the signing of the Mediators Green Pledge and by using the Universal Disclosure Protocol for Mediation, in a culturally-appropriate manner. Not only does this improve the quality of the mediation process but it ensures better self-determination. It provides reassurance that the mediator is committed to taking responsible approaches to their work and to the environment.
